Role Description
LUSEO is seeking a Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection (FP) Professional Engineer to support the design and delivery of building projects across Florida. This role involves leading design efforts, coordinating with clients and project teams, and ensuring quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. As a senior member of the team, you’ll play a key role in driving technical excellence, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the successful execution of projects from concept through construction.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a licensed PE with 5 years of experience in Plumbing & FP engineering design, coupled with experience managing projects and other professionals, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Technical and Project Support: Perform engineering design and calculations.
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control: Ensure quality control and risk management processes are followed throughout project lifecycle.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, including A&E firms, contractors, and developers, ensuring project requirements are met and fostering strong client relationships.
- Documentation and Compliance: Oversee the preparation and review of technical documents, reports, and drawings, ensuring compliance with company, client, and regulatory standards.
- Construction Administration: Conduct site visits to assess project progress, support construction administration, and resolve any technical issues on-site.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineering (PE) License required
- 5 years of experience in the design of Plumbing and Fire Protection systems
- Experience working with architects, contractors, owners, and developers
