Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer to design and implement plumbing and fire protection systems. As a Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer, you will operate with various departments to develop all construction and electrical specifications for all plumbing projects.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection engineering.
- Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a Bachelor's in Architectural Engineering.
- Must have a knowledge of plumbing and fire protection design, corresponding terminology, and general knowledge of MEP design.
- Excellent ability to read, interpret, and implement plumbing and fire protection design documentation.
- The ideal candidate should have experience in hospitality, residential, public work, and high-rise buildings.
- Excellent work ethic and attitude.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to plan, balance, and prioritize work.
Plumbing Engineer Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with customers to develop designs, calculate constructions, and select appropriate installation equipment and systems.
- Evaluate all design drawings according to required quality regulations.
- Responsible for performing quality assurance reviews on projects.
- Drafting technical documentation, CAD, and Revit.
- Providing training and mentoring to junior engineering staff.
- Provide technical support for construction projects.
