We are expanding aggressively into the Bay Area and Monterey Coastal Regions are seeking Business Development Representatives with a hunter mindset to identify and close new business opportunities.

Role description:
The Business Development Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Morgan Hill, CA. This position is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective and existing customers, and promoting Lusamerica’s seafood products and services. This is a high-impact, field-based sales role focused on new customer acquisitions and territory growth. The role also involves collaborating with operations and customer service teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and market trends, and tracking results against sales targets.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Sales and Business Development, with a focus on growing accounts and meeting revenue goals.
- Proficiency in Inside Sales activities and Lead Generation, including prospecting, outreach, and pipeline management.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective presentation abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
- Experience in food, seafood, or related industries is preferred; B2B sales experience is an advantage.
- Comfort using CRM systems and basic productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) to manage sales activities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
- A hunter-style sales professional with a passion for closing new business.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
