Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Support restaurant operations by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with guest relations to foster a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages
• Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus for adapting to dynamic environments
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous for supporting food preparation or troubleshooting issues
