Requirements
Host Responsibilities:
- Greet all guest with a smile and make all guests feel welcomed at the restaurant
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
- Perform other restaurant duties as assigned
- Answer phones
- Walk guests to their tables
- Roll silverware
- Coordinate seating
- Interact with guests professionally
- Lift and carry menus
- Light cleaning
- Restroom checks
- Featured item board updates
- Exterior menu box updates
- Must be able to take Take Out orders, and ring them in correctly.
- Open doors for guests as the come in and exit the building.
Host Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with guests
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to understand and speak English; able to read written instructions in English
- Able to communicate well
- Positive attitude
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to effectively solve problems
- Able to analyze information
- Able to meet deadlines
- Must work with a sense of urgency
