THE ROLE
We're looking for an Event Manager to own LUPFR's San Francisco market. This is an on-the-ground leadership role - you'll run point on SF events end to end, from artist conversations through event day execution, while staying in close contact with the CEO and LA team remotely. The goal is to build SF into a fully operational market this person runs independently.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Co-own planning and execution of SF live music events from concept through close-out
- Manage contractor logistics: load-in, schedules, vendor communications, and day-of run-of-show
- Lead artist and venue coordination - serve as the primary point of contact on-site
- Build and maintain operational documents: timelines, guest lists, production checklists, and post-event financials
- Run the event floor as LUPFR's SF lead - problem-solving in real time and keeping things moving
- Evaluate new events and artist bookings, and manage the SF talent pipeline
- Report directly to the CEO and LA team through regular remote check-ins, providing visibility into SF performance and pipeline
WHO YOU ARE
- Based in San Francisco and available for evening and weekend events
- Genuine passion for live music and the culture around it
- Strong operator instincts - you can manage multiple timelines, logistics, and people independently
- Clear communicator who can hold their own with artists, venue managers, and contractors on the ground, and manage up to leadership remotely
- Highly autonomous and self-directed - comfortable operating with minimal day-to-day oversight and making real-time calls
- Prior experience in event production, hospitality, music, or entertainment management required
