Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assemble Shipping Product specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, packaging, and preparing shipping products efficiently and accurately to ensure timely delivery. Duties
- Assemble shipping products according to detailed manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production documents
- Operate packaging equipment and material handling tools safely and efficiently
- Conduct mechanical troubleshooting on industrial equipment and packaging machinery to resolve issues promptly
- Handle materials with proper safety protocol adherence, including heavy lifting and forklift operation when necessary
- Interpret production documents accurately to ensure correct assembly and packaging specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards in production and warehouse operations
- Perform routine inspections of assembled products for quality assurance before shipment
- Support warehouse operations by managing materials handling processes and ensuring timely movement of components
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments, with familiarity in assembly or packaging roles
- Knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting, hand tools, and packaging machinery operation
- Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and safety standards in production settings
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to interpret manufacturing documents and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and quality checks
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely
- Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing facility or GMP environment is highly desirable
