Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patient health and vital signs on a daily basis.
- Educate patients and families on lung health and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Participate in patient care planning and discharge planning.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in respiratory care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
