SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Safety is the most important part of all jobs. Comply with all company and OSHA safety procedures, attend safety meetings and participate in company safety programs. Wear & use required personal protective equipment. Report hazardous conditions to the employer / supervisor. Report any job-related injury or illness to employer and seek treatment promptly. Stay aware of possible hazards. Maintain clean & organized work/staging areas. Perform daily inspections on equipment and report any defects or repairs needed to supervisor or maintenance personnel.

REQUIRED:

• 5 Years experience in Steel Fabrication/welding

or

• American Welding Society- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

Additional Desired Certifications:

• Ultrasonic Inspector- Steel
• Magnetic Particle Inspector- Steel

Other Needed Skills:

• Reliable attendance
• Computer skills- MS Office, Bluebeam
• Ability to read and understand architectural and structural steel shop drawings
• Measurement and verification of steel structure fit-up
• Ensure conformance to certification requirements, job specifications, and required codes
• Enhanced positive communication skills
• Solid written and tracking skills
• Avid learner and continuous improvement
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs on occasion

SCHEDULE

Ability to work 10 hr shifts 5 days/week plus occasional Saturdays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $27.00 per hour
