Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS.
• Prepare non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
• Handle retail sales transactions efficiently, processing cash and card payments while ensuring accuracy in math calculations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, food prep stations, and seating areas to uphold food safety standards.
• Assist in food handling tasks such as assembling deli items, running food, and restocking supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about menu items and offering recommendations.
• Support beverage service and drink delivery to ensure timely service during busy periods.

Experience

• Previous food service experience or café background is highly preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Square and Clover POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques.
• Barista experience or coffee expertise is highly desirable to enhance beverage quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
