Retail Store Associate

Luna Vape Kava Bar is hiring a Store Associate / Kava Bar Barista for our Railroad Square location.

We are looking for someone dependable, outgoing, professional, and customer-focused who works well in a fast-paced environment. This position combines smoke shop retail sales with kava bar service and customer interaction.

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for alternative wellness products and culture. We’re looking for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers while staying productive throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers
• Recommend products and upsell add-on items
• Operate the register and process transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
• Restock inventory and assist with merchandising
• Learn product knowledge for vape, smoke shop, and wellness products
• Follow company policies and compliance procedures
• Help maintain a professional and welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Positive, energetic, and professional attitude
• Passion for alternative wellness products and customer education
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable working on your feet for entire shifts
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs
• Must be comfortable using ladders
• Ability to multitask and stay productive during slower periods
• Must have weekend and holiday availability
• Retail, barista, restaurant, hospitality, smoke shop, vape, or kava bar experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation
