We are currently seeking a dedicated, organized, and passionate Site Director to lead our Before & After School Program and Summer Camp. This position is responsible for overseeing daily site operations, supporting staff, maintaining strong relationships with families and school partners, and ensuring full compliance with Colorado licensing requirements.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the program site
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children
- Supervise, support, and mentor staff
- Ensure quality programming and compliance with all licensing requirements
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities for before school, after school, full-day care, no-school days, and summer camp
- Build strong relationships with children, families, school staff, and community partners
- Maintain attendance records, incident reports, and other required documentation
- Communicate with families regarding program updates, child-related matters, and events
- Support enrollment growth through outreach, family engagement, and site-level marketing efforts
- Uphold all Luna Kids Care policies and Colorado Department of Early Childhood regulations
Qualifications
Candidates must meet the qualifications for a School-Age Program Director under Colorado Licensing Rule 2.509.A.2. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and meet one of the following:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in:
- Child Development
- Psychology
- Early Childhood Education / Special Education
- Elementary Education / Special Education
- Family and Human Development / Family Studies
- Human Services
OR
- Associate’s degree or 60 college credits from an accredited institution, plus 455 hours of verified experience caring for 4 or more children ages 4–18
OR
- 3,185 hours of verified experience caring for 4 or more children ages 4–18, plus either:
- 6 college credits in education or child development, or
- 40 hours of training applicable to school-age programming completed within 9 months of hire
OR
- Current Early Childhood Professional Credential Level II or higher (Version 3.0) through Colorado Shines PDIS
Additional requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training may be provided
- Successful completion of background checks
- Completion of required pre-service licensing trainings
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
