Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, reliable part-time and fulltime handyman/maintenance technician to join our team as This position requires a well-rounded handyman/maintenance background and the ability to work independently while maintaining quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Complete minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
- Perform property maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and small renovations.
- Take photos of each job (before, during, and after) including property front with visible address.
- Must be able to color match and touch up paint.
- Communicate job progress and completion through the HouseCall Pro app.
- Provide accurate updates if additional time is required to complete a job.
- Maintain professionalism with property owners, tenants, and managers.
Requirements:
- Must provide your own tools and reliable transportation.
- General knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and home maintenance.
- Ability to use a smartphone and HouseCall Pro app (training available if needed).
- Strong communication and reliability.
- Minimum 3 work references required
- Proven experience in residential maintenance or handyman services
- Must have your own truck or vehicle capable of transporting materials (including lumber and doors when needed)
- Own basic hand tools
- Ability to work independently and manage daily work orders
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism with tenants and property managers
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Compensation:
- dependent on experience
Scheduling:
Standard hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Part time hours available
Occasional schedule variations may occur depending on maintenance needs; these will be discussed in advance
Expected workload averages 35- 40 hours per week
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
