Position Summary
The Corporate Controller will report directly to the CEO and oversee accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance functions. This requires a strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory controls, ERP and analytical systems in manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate brings both leadership capabilities and a detail-oriented, analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions, including GL, A/R, A/P, payroll, and fixed assets
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes with timeliness and accuracy
- Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies in compliance with GAAP
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, forecasts, and variance analysis reports
- Oversee cost accounting processes and inventory valuation
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve financial visibility and performance. Drive ERP utilization &
enhancement (Macola/similar experience helpful)
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partners
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team; promote a culture of continuous improvement, plan approaching retirement
transitions
- Help executive leadership manage strategic initiatives, financial planning, and risk
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5-7 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in a leadership/Controller role
- Strong experience in manufacturing, medical device industries preferred
- Expertise in GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory accounting
- ERP experience required (Macola, NetSuite, or similar)
- Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to lead teams through periods of growth and change
Work Environment
- Primarily office-based, with potential for hybrid work up to 2 days per week.
Physical Requirements
- Mobility: Ability to work at a desk for prolonged periods, utilizing a computer and other standard office equipment.
- Communication: Must effectively communicate financial information both verbally and in writing.
- Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands for typing and handling documents.
- Lifting: Occasionally required to lift and carry items such as files or boxes, up to 20 pounds.
