Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Graphic Designer based in Petaluma, CA. The Graphic Designer will conceptualize and execute high-quality designs for a variety of projects, including branding elements, digital and print materials, packaging, and logos. This role involves collaboration with marketing and product teams to ensure cohesion between imagery, typography, and brand guidelines. Candidates will handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Design thoughtful solutions to help Luminary Brands tell stories online including email campaigns, web banners, front-end landing pages, social posts, digital ads.
- Be responsible for any photo research, stock image searches, image retouching.
- Create imagery combining custom product photography and stock environments.
- Retouch images of models and products from photoshoots including color matching – add to bonus.
- Create animated gifs, edit and create video sequences.
- Work with the brand and digital teams to concept and design campaigns and new product launch support.
- Generate digital & physical mock-ups and prepare layouts for review and approval.
- Collaborate with internal team, to move projects through from concept to launch, implementing feedback within deadlines.
- Prepare production files for emails and digital assets for retail partners.
- Support Sales and Marketing teams by gathering, organizing, and curating assets for distribution to external partners, ensuring brand consistency and timely delivery of materials
- Organize and properly archive art and design assets for future project development.
- Multi-task and work on multiple projects per day, balancing speed with quality of work.
- Develop and execute package design and print marketing layouts, preparing final production files and coordinating with print vendors; occasionally oversee press runs to ensure quality standards.
- Proof soft and hard copies of print materials for both content accuracy and technical print specifications prior to production.
- Review and approve print quality control (QC) standards, addressing any post-production issues directly with vendors to maintain brand and production consistency.
- Attend all weekly content, marketing, and print and packaging meetings.
- Maintain brand guidelines within the scope of your role.
