Lumina Recovery is searching for a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Residential Technician at our Sherman Oaks Location to join our team of professionals. Key Responsibilities
As a Residential Technician, your primary role will include:
- Completing admission/intake procedures for new clients including paperwork, room assignments, and initial orientation
- Conducting property searches as required by program standards
- Performing urine drug screenings for clients
- Supervising medication calls if necessary
- Providing transportation services including patient transportation, donation pick-ups, and agency errands
- Attending in-service training, educational workshops, and required staff meetings
- Developing and maintaining client records, progress reports, and treatment documentation
- Identifying and addressing crises, behavioral changes, and additional assistance needs
- Adhering to professional ethics, maintaining confidential information, and respecting appropriate boundaries
Key Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- RADT or equivalency
- Minimum of one year experience in the mental health field or educational progress towards a degree in a mental health field
- Must possess valid California driver's license and liability insurance if driving personal vehicle for company business
- Excellent communication, observation, and writing skills
- Familiarity with various recovery resources available in the community
- Completed required trainings and certifications, including CPR/First Aid, TB test, Health Screen/Work Clearance, and Food Handlers Certification
