Technical Project Manager – Manufacturing

About the Role:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with an engineering background to lead projects in a manufacturing environment. This role partners with engineering, design, and production teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
This is not a purely administrative role—the ideal candidate will be technically fluent, with the ability to understand designs, prototypes, and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project lifecycle (scope, schedule, budget, delivery)
- Lead multiple manufacturing projects from concept through deployment
- Ensure proper tools, equipment, and processes are in place
- Develop project plans, proposals, and budgets
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and customers
- Track progress, mitigate risks, and drive execution
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or related
- 3–5 years engineering experience (design, prototyping, modeling)
- 5 years project management experience in manufacturing
- Experience managing projects with budgets, timelines, and full scope ownership
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Background:
- Experience with tangible products (equipment, tools, systems, assemblies, components)
- Experience working with metals or metal-based manufacturing
- Ability to understand technical designs, drawings, and prototypes
