Substation Engineer 3 and 4 | Hybrid | Austin, TX | $100k - $150k
I am hiring 2 Substation Engineers: One with 4 years of experience and one with 8 years of experience.
This role is with a well-established electric utility serving one of the fastest-growing regions in Texas!
No visa sponsorship available. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

These roles are ideal for electrical engineers with hands-on substation design exposure!
Qualifications:
Substation Engineer III
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 4–8 years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Demonstrated exposure to substation design and/or upgrades
- Experience with tools such as AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- EIT preferred; PE a plus or in progress
Substation Engineer IV
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required
- 8–12 years of substation-focused engineering experience
- Strong background in utility substation design (HV/MV)
Compensation:
- 8-9% bonus, very competitive benefits
- III: $100,000 - $130,000
- IV: $120,000 - $150,000
