Project Manager | Louisville, KY
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established General Contractor with a strong presence in the Louisville market and play a key role in delivering complex projects from preconstruction through completion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Review drawings and specifications to identify potential risks, conflicts, and opportunities.
- Manage subcontractor buyout, scope reviews, procurement, and contract administration.
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and financial performance.
- Review and approve project documentation, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay applications.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and other project team members.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
- Proven experience managing industrial, warehouse, distribution center, or commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, procurement, contracts, and cost control.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
