Project Manager – Commercial Construction (Myrtle Beach, SC)
Salary: $125,000 Full Benefits Package
We are partnered with a well-established commercial construction company in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to join their growing team. This is a non-travel role focused on local work, offering long-term stability, strong benefits, and a collaborative team environment.
This role is responsible for leading all preconstruction efforts including estimating, budgeting, planning, and client engagement to ensure successful project setup and transition into construction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead preconstruction efforts from concept through handoff to operations
• Develop conceptual and detailed estimates and budgets
• Review drawings, specs, and project documents for accuracy and scope
• Coordinate with owners, architects, and engineers during design phases
• Manage subcontractor input, scope coverage, and pricing
• Support value engineering and cost optimization efforts
• Prepare bid packages and participate in proposal development
• Ensure smooth transition from preconstruction to project execution
Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience in commercial construction preconstruction or estimating
• Strong understanding of estimating, budgeting, and cost analysis
• Experience working with owners, design teams, and subcontractors
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple preconstruction efforts simultaneously
Compensation & Benefits:
• $125,000 base salary
