Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work with chemicals and handle very thin layers in the low micrometer range.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in an industrial environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with SOFC technology or related fuel cell systems preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to fuel cell components.
- Making of various slurries.
- Chemical synthesis of cathode and anode materials.
- Tape casting of very thin layers.
- Assembly or lamination of very thin layers.
- Electrochemical testing of fuel cells.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with senior personnel to implement improvements and upgrades.
- Document all maintenance activities and report findings.
- Assist in the development of operational protocols and safety procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to team members.
