The Sr. Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives leads and executes a portfolio of high-impact projects designed to streamline business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and advance the organization’s long-term strategic priorities. This role partners cross-functionally across the enterprise to drive alignment, ensure disciplined execution, and deliver measurable business value.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of key operational projects, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, dependency maps, resource requirements, and risk management strategies (including post & pre-mortems).
- Coordinate resources, manage project teams, and track progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate cross-departmental cooperation by fostering strong working relationships and managing dependencies across different teams.
- Develop and manage appropriate meeting cadences to include recurring calls with function leaders (individually and/or as a group)
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor project performance using appropriate metrics.
- Prepare regular status reports, dashboards, and presentations for key stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate potential issues or risks, providing mitigation and corrective strategies.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and project management practices.
- Support the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance project outcomes.
Risk & Change Management
- Proactively identify project risks and dependencies and address.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure adoption of new processes, tools, or changes resulting from strategic initiatives.
- Effectively manage all stakeholders to ensure successful implementation & sustainability.
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure all project-related documentation, such as charters, work plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations, is accurate, up to date, and easily accessible.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards, ensuring that all projects meet internal and external regulatory requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and the ability to influence without authority.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, MS Project, Asana, Jira, or similar) and data analysis.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma is a plus.
- Knowledge of reporting best practices and emerging trends.
- Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in operations, strategy, business development, M&A, consulting, or project management related positions. Proven success in managing large teams and experience with complex projects.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires the use of office equipment, such as computers, fax machines, telephones and copiers
- Requires computer related activities for extended periods of time
- Requires the ability to see, hear, speak, write and key
- Overnight travel up to 10% of time.
