Our firm is seeking a seasoned litigation paralegal with experience in the state and federal court systems to join a growing medical malpractice team. The Senior Paralegal will work closely with the firm's litigation attorneys and will be responsible for using their extensive knowledge of the judicial system to provide essential support in a wide range of court cases. The right candidate for this position will be dedicated to using their experience and aptitude to present legal issues with clarity, accuracy, and speed. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of litigation experience, including insurance-defense experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and technical support to attorneys and paralegals.
- Prepare briefs, motions, and citations.
- Prepare correspondence.
- Review information and documents for accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare legal documents such as interrogatories, requests for admissions, requests for production of documents, and subpoenas.
- Be responsible for knowledge of litigation procedures.
- Conduct research.
- Liaise with outside counsel.
- Transcribe interviews and hearings.
- Compile legal documents.
- Edit transcripts.
Salary : $70,000 - $110,000
