What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Lumen Stack Systems?
We are looking for someone who can welcome a visitor, handle a busy phone, and make sure the right message reaches the right person. If you enjoy meeting people and keeping things organized, this could be a great place to start building your office career.
You will be the first person many clients and visitors meet at our St. Louis office. We work in workplace technology, but your role will focus on people and the day-to-day running of the front desk. When someone has a specialist question, you will connect them with the teammate who can help.
What you will do
- Greet visitors and let their host know they have arrived.
- Answer calls, take clear messages, and direct inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and help prepare meeting rooms.
- Respond to routine emails and keep visitor information organized.
- Help with mail, office supplies, and other daily administrative tasks.
- Work with colleagues to make sure guests and clients receive timely updates.
What we are looking for
You are friendly, dependable, and comfortable speaking with different people throughout the day. You can stay calm when the phone rings while someone is waiting at the desk, and you take care with names, times, and messages. Previous reception or office experience is welcome, but we are also interested in applicants who bring strong people skills and are ready to learn.
