`Summary: The Delivery Driver Helper helps with the loading, routing and unloading of appliances and/or building materials that are being delivered to our customers.
Job Duties:
- Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading and unloading a truck
- Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries
- Meeting delivery deadlines
- Performing basic truck maintenance
- Loading and unloading product
- Tracking shipments and deliveries
- Obtaining customer signatures
- Taking pictures of delivery sites
- Back up duties for others
- Perform other duties as requested
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of how to handle materials safely
- Familiarity with the navigation systems
- Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule
- Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving
- Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo
- Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same
- using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including gloves, glasses, back belts and seat belts on forklifts
- This position will require morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week based on business needs.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 80lbs
- Stand or sit for long periods
- Must be able to bend and lift over your head

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
