Position Summary:
The Dental Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduler is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key role in setting the tone for their entire visit. This position involves a balance of administrative projects, warm communication, and a genuine desire to help others. The ideal candidate will be professional, dependable, and compassionate—someone who enjoys building relationships while keeping the office running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients with a positive, friendly attitude—both in person and over the phone.
- Schedule appointments efficiently to maintain an organized and productive daily schedule.
- Confirm and remind patients of upcoming appointments via phone, text, or email systems.
- Check patients in and out, ensuring all necessary forms, consents, and payments are completed.
- Collect payments and handle patient billing questions with courtesy and professionalism.
- Maintain patient records with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with dental assistants, hygienists, and our doctor to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Assist with general office tasks, including filing, mail, and supply management as needed.
