Coordinator, Domestic Transportation

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Book and schedule all inbound and outbound shipments for CTG and Lumber Liquidators.
• Work with logistics managers and warehouse staff.
• Ensure the company follows state and federal regulations regarding transportation and recordkeeping.
• Maintain shipping excel spreadsheet and truck logs.
• Email store manifest.

• Keep stores and customers updated on delivery ETA’s.
• Provide customer service to drivers, stores, and customers.
• Schedule and route LTL shipments and provide tracking.
• Schedule store pullbacks.
• KPI reporting for inbound and outbound.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Logistics experience.
• Must be highly skilled in use of Excel Spreadsheet.

• Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures.

• Must demonstrate high level of attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume environment.

SUMMARY:

As Transportation Coordinator, your responsibilities will include coordinating inbound and outbound domestic shipments to and from for all domestic Transportation of CTG and Lumber Liquidators distribution centers and U.S. stores.

Schedule transportation needs, including TL, LTL, and parcel as instructed by Supervisor or Manager of Domestic Transportation. Partner with carriers to optimize cost and routing for CTG and Lumber Liquidators. Provide ongoing shipment status updates and support to stores and vendors. Analyze trends, resolve problems, and improve routing while ensuring regulatory compliance. Collaborate with internal teams to support supply chain decisions. Maintain carrier KPI reports and perform data entry. Gather transportation data for reporting and market competitiveness.
