Lumark Technologies, Inc. (www.lumark.com), founded in 1999, is a mature small business that provides services to Defense, Federal and Commercial clients. Lumark has an exciting job opportunity for Cyber Security and Systems Engineering professionals to join our team in support of the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM). We have multiple positions available ranging in specialty that are in-person at Lumark's Corporate Office in Fairfax, VA with some possibility for hybrid/remote work.
Lumark is currently searching for: Business Intelligence Analysts; Systems Engineers; Cyber Security Engineers; Technical Analysts; Solution Architects; and Systems Engineers. Lumark’s positions range from Junior to Senior level positions, so we encourage all who meet the minimum qualifications to apply!
Duties by Position
Business Intelligence Analysts:
- Support data analysis and reporting to aid strategic planning, enhance performance, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Perform duties regarding electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming to develop data driven insights that aid project teams in making informed decisions and achieving mission objectives.
- Manage and perform maintenance on existing computer network systems services including LAN, WAN, Intranets, and the internet.
- Provide Analytical, technical, and administrative support
- Evaluate communication hardware and software, troubleshoot LAN/MAN/WAN and other network-related problems, and provide technical expertise for network performance and configuration.
Systems Engineers:
- Develop complex IT systems and applications, apply business process improvement practices, evaluate hardware software, and assist in establishing standards.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement test tools and strategies.
- Design, implement, and conduct T&E procedures.
- Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures.
- Research, design, develop, run tests, and evaluate systems to support implementations and integrations.
- Manage and perform maintenance on existing computer network system services.
Cyber Security Engineers:
- Analyze cybersecurity requirements, technologies, risks, and issues.
- Assist in the design of solutions, defenses, and mitigation approaches.
- Apply business process improvement practices to engineer methodologies and principles.
- Evaluate hardware and software, establish standards, engage in systems planning, performance management, capacity planning, testing, validation, benchmarking, information engineering, and systems engineering plans.
Technical Analysts:
- Provide configuration management planning including configuration identification provisions, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
- Regulate change processes.
- Design and conduct training and development programs.
- Analyze training needs within the organization and tailor training programs.
Solution Architects:
- Design and adapt technology architectures and test software integration with new designs.
- Align technology solutions with business objectives.
- Optimize performance, maintain security and compliance, and estimate project costs.
- Serve as a technical expert for the development, implementation, management, and support of systems and networks.
- Plan and execute complex assignments and develop new methods and approaches in a variety of IT specialties.
Systems Administrators:
- Configure and operate systems including mainframes, mini, and client/server-based systems.
- Optimize system operation and resource utilization plus system capacity analysis and planning.
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.
- Contribute to optimizing system operation and resource utilization.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship.
- At minimum a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
- Currently hold or have recently held at minimum a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Must currently reside near or within commuting distance of Fairfax, VA
- 1-10 years of relevant experience.
- Hold relevant certifications (E.g. CISSPs, GICSPs, GSECs, CompTIA certifications, SSCPs, CNDs, CSSLPs, CSSLPs, etc.)
Job Details
- Compensation: $60,000 to $100,000 a year.
- Hours: 40 Hours a week.
- Location: Onsite 5 days a week with the possibility of some hybrid/remote work.

Physical Requirements
