Lumark Technologies, Inc. (www.lumark.com), founded in 1999, is a mature small business that provides services to Defense, Federal and Commercial clients. Lumark has an exciting job opportunity for a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team in support of the United States Navy (USN) Military Sealift Command (MSC) team onsite – this is an IMMEDIATE OPENING on an ACTIVE CONTRACT through 2029.
Duties
- General maintenance services and repairs in the areas of plumbing, plastering, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, electrical, and machinery.
- Perform facilities preventative maintenance, repair, removal, disposal, and general upkeep.
- Inventory management to include tools, equipment, and consumables.
- Perform weekly Building and facility inspections.
- Specialized facilities maintenance work including carpentry, painting, roofing, and welding.
- Prepare and submit reports against a set schedule.
- Lead a small team of maintenance technicians and coordinate with active duty and civilian military personnel and other contractor teams across multiple sites.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Currently hold or have recently held at minimum a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Must currently reside in or near San Diego, CA and be able to commute to the MSC work location.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Job Details
- Compensation: $28 - $30 Hourly Rate.
- Hours: 40 Hours a week.
- Location: Onsite 5 days a week.
