The Hospitality Beach & Pool Host is responsible for creating a memorable and personalized guest experience throughout the resort’s outdoor areas. This role provides warm, attentive, and proactive service to guests at the beach and pool while ensuring a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. The Hospitality Beach & Pool Host welcomes guests, assists with beach and pool amenities, provides local recommendations, anticipates guest needs, and supports a seamless luxury resort experience. This position works closely with the front desk and other resort departments to ensure guests receive consistent, exceptional hospitality from arrival through departure. Key Responsibilities: - Welcome and engage guests at the beach and pool areas with a friendly and professional attitude. - Assist guests with beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and other resort amenities. - Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting pool and beach environment.
- Identify any visitors who are not hotel guests and make them leave the premises. Proactively identify guest needs and provide personalized assistance.
- Provide information about resort services, activities, and local attractions.
- Support special guest requests and create memorable moments.
- Monitor guest comfort and satisfaction throughout their experience.
- Communicate guest feedback, requests, and concerns to the appropriate departments.Assist with resort events and outdoor guest experiences.
- Maintain the highest standards of hospitality, appearance, and service.
- Skills
- Proven experience in events management or coordinating outdoor activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Certified in first aid and CPR with knowledge of safety protocol adherence in outdoor environments preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in recreational or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
- Retail sales experience, including processing cash transactions and operating POS systems efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experiences.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely during setup or cleanup activities.
- Outgoing public speaking skills to engage guests during events or safety briefings.
- Experience in food service or resort environments is a plus, along with theater or hospitality background for engaging guest interactions.
