Responsibilities / Position overview
The Graduate Research Assistant is a multi-disciplinary research role that supports project management, research design, data collection, and analysis. This role involves producing materials and ensuring compliance with industry standards to meet client deliverables. This role acts as a key point of contact, contributing to the successful implementation and management of research projects while supporting organisational values and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Act as a day-to-day point of contact in the coordination of project administration and provide day to day project support to ensure effective management and implementation of research projects.
- Contribute to research activities across all research disciplines to help build client satisfaction, whilst building an understanding of business environment, client needs, research design, data collection and the analysis process.
- Assist in the production of internal materials and presentations.
- Build collaborative and effective relationships with internal and external colleagues.
- Ensure timely and appropriate completion of all administrative tasks related to client projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Public Health, Market Research, or a related field is usually required.
- No relevant experience required, some general work experience is preferred
- Understands and is able to apply some basic research methods – demonstrates enthusiasm and creativity
- Able to articulate a specific interest in market research and healthcare
- Able to articulate a broad understanding of market research
- Show evidence of ability to prioritise, multi-task and organise
- Demonstrate data-analysis, synthesis, interpretation and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficient: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
