What You’ll Do
As a Groundskeeper / Make-Ready Technician, you’ll help bring the LUMA Playbook to life by supporting the overall appearance, cleanliness, and readiness of the community.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining community grounds, curb appeal, and cleanliness standards
- Assisting with pool maintenance and upkeep
- Performing interior and exterior cleaning of amenities and common areas
- Completing make-ready duties to prepare apartment homes for new residents
- Assisting with apartment rehabs, renovations, and property improvement projects
- Supporting general maintenance tasks and repairs as needed
- Assisting with overall property upkeep including grounds, pools, amenities, and shared spaces
- Working collaboratively with the service team to ensure the community reflects LUMA’s high standards
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- Basic maintenance knowledge and hands-on experience required, including:
- Painting
- Basic carpentry
- General repair skills
- Experience with apartment rehabs and renovations required
- Must have own tools
- Mid-rise property experience is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Must be willing to participate in rotating on-call weekends and after-hours calls as needed
- Must be comfortable using mobile devices, maintenance software, and property management apps
- Must possess a strong work ethic, accountability, and willingness to assist wherever needed
- Must be physically capable of lifting, carrying, bending, walking stairs, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
