Summary: Prep Supervisor oversees the production, quality, use & storage of raw & finished food products. Responsible for delegating tasks, follow-up, support of department employees and implementing quality control measures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Trains all new employees within department in accordance with company standards. Follows-up with employees and management regarding employee’s progress & areas where improvement is needed
- Ensures all products are properly received, stored and maintained in their respective areas by correctly dating, labeling and rotating
- Ensures recipes are understood, utilized and followed by employees for each product. Checks each item prior to use and/or storage
- Monitors the work of employees for adherence to recipe, prep and product handling guidelines. Communicates with employees and management when product issues occur
