We are a private club with properties across Texas. We are looking for a hands-on Executive Chef to own daily execution in Luling, TX at our ultra exclusive golf club. This is a culinary building opportunity. Our club and culinary program is in the developmental stages, but growth is happening rapidly.
This role is ideal for a chef who has a passion for beef and Hill Country fare at its finest, someone ready to step into real responsibility and help design a program from the ground up.

Rooted in Texas ranch culture, sourcing from local farms and ranches, including our own personal wagyu cattle. Elevated but practical, meant to fuel long days and impress guests without being pretentious
The Role:
Starting Up
You will be the day-to-day culinary lead in Luling, operating out of a fully equipped portable kitchen and pit smoker setup. You will work with a small team to build the initial program, establish standards, and then refine them collaboratively.
This is a true ownership role. You will have a lot of autonomy, but will be expected to remain flexible to the day to day changes as needed from ownership, management and especially guests.
The Big Picture
Build a culinary program and team capable of executing at the highest level of excellence in creativity, safety, sanitation and guest experience. Develop menus, training programs and standards of operations for a culinary program that will expand into multiple kitchens and facilities across Texas.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Creating and executing a scalable meal program feeding guest and staff 7 days/week
- Preparing meals for ownership and guests that are elevated and reflect the ranch lifestyle
- Designing menus that balance nutrition, efficiency, cost, and quality
- Running and maintaining smokers, grills, and commercial kitchen equipment
- Building prep systems, pars, ordering, inventory, and food safety standards
- Creating relationships with vendors as growth occurs
- Documenting menus and systems for staff training and ownership visibility
- Maintaining consistency while allowing room for seasonal and creative expression
What We’re Looking For:
- 7 years culinary experience in professional kitchens with a minimum of 3 at the executive level
- Experience working with live fire and smoking BBQ pits
- Comfortable cooking at volume without sacrificing execution
- Organized, self-directed, and accountable
- The ability to operate independently and communicate clearly with leadership
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to hire, train and supervise staff
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and protocols
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time (40 hrs/week), ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Based primarily in Luling, TX
- Salary, depending on experience
- Growth in responsibility and scope as the club continues to open and expand
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Culinary: 5 years (Required)
- Executive Culinary: 3 years (Preferred)
