Luis F LLC is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our growing team as Apprentice Flooring Installers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in the construction and remodeling industry. No prior experience is required — we provide hands-on training, paid continuing education, and opportunities to earn professional certifications in flooring installation and subfloor preparation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, and hardwood flooring under supervision
- Help prepare job sites (demolition, cleanup, measuring, material handling)
- Learn proper techniques for underlayment, leveling, cutting, and finishing
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
- Communicate with lead installers and project managers to ensure quality results
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Palm Coast, St. Augustine, and Daytona areas
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Professional attitude and respect for clients’ homes and property
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Compensation
- Competitive 1099 subcontractor pay based on performance and skill level
