Responsibilities
- Collaborate with catering director to understand the client's needs, preferences, and vision for their special event.
- Execute all aspects of catering events, including menu planning, staffing, equipment setup, and delivery logistics
- Drive company vehicles safely along designated routes to deliver catering orders promptly and efficiently
- Maintain excellent communication with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth event execution
- Manage merchandising efforts by organizing food displays and presentation areas at event sites, including Ludy's marketing information.
- Handle heavy lifting of catering supplies and equipment as needed while adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Valid California driving license with experience in route driving and safe vehicle operation
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members
- Ability to remai calm in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously with attention to detail
- Experience in merchandising food displays that are visually appealing and aligned with branding standards
- Physical capability for heavy lifting involved in setting up catering stations and transporting supplies
