Ever wonder how a jigsaw puzzle is made? At Ludo Fact USA in Lafayette, Indiana, we manufacture millions of jigsaw puzzles for some of the biggest names in the puzzle industry. Behind every puzzle is a fascinating mix of printing, precision cutting, automated assembly, packaging equipment, and the people who keep it all running.

We’re looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong electrical troubleshooting skills to join our maintenance team.

This is not a traditional electrician position. While electrical knowledge is especially important, we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with all kinds of industrial equipment. Someone who can diagnose an electrical problem one hour, tackle a mechanical repair the next, and help keep our preventive maintenance program on track.

What You’ll Do

· Troubleshoot and repair production machinery, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automated systems.

· Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, drives, sensors, relays, switches, control circuits, and related components.

· Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep our equipment operating safely and reliably.

· Work on a variety of specialized equipment, including puzzle die-cutting presses, conveyors, assembly machinery, and automated packaging systems.

· Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.

· Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, adjustments, and improvements.

· Work closely with production operators and other maintenance team members to minimize downtime.

· Help maintain our building and facilities, including general repairs and maintenance.

· Document repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment issues.

· Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a maintenance professional first, with electrical troubleshooting as a particular strength.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

· At least 2 years of industrial maintenance or related manufacturing experience.

· Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with motors, controls, wiring, and electrical components.

· Hands-on mechanical maintenance and repair experience.

· Experience with preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

· Ability to read electrical schematics and use electrical diagnostic tools.

· A practical, hands-on approach to solving problems.

· Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

· A strong commitment to safety, reliability, and quality workmanship.

Even Better If You Have:

· Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.

· Familiarity with variable-frequency drives (VFDs), motor controls, and industrial automation.

· Experience with pneumatic systems, hydraulics, conveyors, or packaging machinery.

· Technical school training, an apprenticeship, or other industrial maintenance education.

· Experience with computerized maintenance management systems.

· Bilingual Spanish/English

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
