What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coffee Roaster position at Lucy Jo's Coffee Roastery?
Lucy Jo's Coffee Roastery is a family owned and run Certified Organic coffee roastery specializing in roasting high quality organic coffees. We are looking for a detail oriented productive person who would be a good fit with the physical and mental work of coffee roasting.
Training provided.
Must have reliable transportation. AWD preferred.
Coffee Roaster
- Experience with food production equipment in a production environment preferred
- Experience showing applicable ability to learn coffee roaster equipment operation
- Ability to handle the physical demands of working with heavy bags of green coffee
- Experience with audit tracking software or related spreadsheet experience for tracking coffee production
- Maintain logs for roaster maintenance and cleaning
- Maintain a high-level of accuracy following product specifications
- Implement Quality Control steps for production accuracy
- Follow weekly production goals and make adjustments as necessary
- Good communication skills
- Assist in all production areas of coffee bagging operation as needed
- ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
