Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or OpenTable systems.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and operating the cash register.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with inquiries.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Address guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and courtesy to enhance their dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or OpenTable systems is a plus.
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary terminology is beneficial.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail.
