## Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience working with heavy equipment. Applicant must be independent and feel confident operating a service truck by themselves.
## Duties
- Perform maintenance and repair on heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify worn or damaged parts
- Repair or replace faulty parts, components, or systems
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed
## Experience
### Required Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge
- Automotive diagnostics
- Ability to assemble and disassemble heavy equipment
- Experience with dump trucks and tractor-trailers
- Proficiency in soldering, welding, and fabricating parts
