Overview:
We are seeking a hardworking Mobile Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be self motivated and have some knowledge in diesel engine repair and maintenance. If you are passionate about working with power tools and providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:
-Assist head mechanic with repairs
- Perform maintenance on engines and components
- Weld and solder components as needed
- Repair air brake systems
- Operate cranes for heavy equipment maintenance
- Perform suspension repair
- Keep service truck and tools clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Proven experience or schooling as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Proficiency in using power tools for mechanical repairs
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with clients
- Ability to lift heavy parts and tools
- Experience with welding, soldering, and air brake systems is a plus
- Great organizational skills is a must
