Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Event & Sales Coordinator to join our team. This position will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating with a variety of event clients to ensure successful outcomes for weddings, corporate events and private events. It will also require assistance with marketing efforts including creating and managing email blasts and social media accounts
Duties:
- Coordinate all aspects of events starting once the event contract is executed to the day of the event and post event feedback.
- Upsell clients with food and beverage as well as add-on experiences. - Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Create Banquet Event Orders to be used internally to organize the entire team
- Assist with marketing efforts using Canva to create weekly email blasts and manage Instagram and Facebook channels.
- Plan and oversee banquet and catering services provided by 3rd party vendors or restaurant on site.
- Ensure customer service standards are met throughout the event with clients and their planners.
- Assist in event marketing efforts
Skills:
- Proficient in event planning and management
- Strong organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management
- Knowledge of banquet services and catering arrangements
