Responsibilities
- This is a field working position for underground utilities (water and sanitary sewer)
- Perform on the job layout, planning and excavation
- Supervise crew members on-site, ensuring adherence to safety regulations including OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations.
- Perform quality control checks on construction projects
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress and documentation
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
- Strong understanding of construction regulations, safety protocols, and blueprint reading techniques.
- Proven ability to manage teams in a construction management role with excellent communication skills.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans for accurate implementation.
- Demonstrated experience supervising construction sites with a focus on safety management and quality assurance.
- Ability to coordinate construction schedules effectively while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
