Responsibilities
- Supervise field service teams performing cabling, fiber splicing, and telecommunication installation activities across various sites.
- Coordinate the safe operation of bucket trucks and bucket lifts for climbing, rigging, and cable installation tasks.
- Oversee high voltage and low voltage electrical work, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.
- Manage rigging operations, welding tasks, and bucket operation to facilitate efficient network deployment.
- Conduct site inspections, including climbing towers or structures to verify installation quality and safety adherence.
- Ensure proper use of field equipment such as cabling tools, welding gear, and bucket trucks while maintaining safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers to schedule work phases, monitor progress, and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in telecommunication field service operations with a focus on fiber splicing, cabling, or network deployment.
- Strong knowledge of 5G, 4G/LTE, and 3G wireless technologies along with related infrastructure components.
- Demonstrated ability to operate bucket trucks and perform climbing activities safely.
- Skilled in rigging techniques, welding procedures, and high-voltage electrical systems.
- Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining strict safety standards in high-voltage environments.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and telecommunication cabling practices.
