The Finance Intern will support the FP&A, Treasury or the Accounting team in their core duties throughout the summer. This could include, but is not limited to, the building of the 3 financial statements, completing variance analysis vs the budget, learning how to read/understand data, learning how to build a budget/forecast and ad hoc financial analyses. The intern will work closely with the finance leadership and will collaborate with the business.

The intern will work closely with the finance leadership and will collaborate with the business.
Essential Functions
- 40% of Job:
- Supports FP&A, Treasury & Accounting management through the provision of accurate and timely reporting and analysis for the consolidation of the Luck Stone Business Unit. Includes assisting in the preparation of month end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation of business unit financials. Prepares summary reports and presentations as needed.
- 20% of Job:
- Performs ad hoc projects such as financial justifications for capital deployment utilizing NPV, IRR, etc.
- 20% of Job:
- Participate in projects aimed at automating processes, enhancing data quality, and optimizing reporting functions.
- 20% of Job:
- Engage in training and development activities to enhance technical and soft skills.
- Education: Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program related to Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Previous internship or academic experience in finance is a plus, but not required.
- Skills:

- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
