Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stockroom Clerk to manage inventory and support warehouse operations. This role involves handling stock, assisting with order fulfillment, and ensuring efficient warehouse distribution processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, shipping and receiving procedures, and operate various material handling equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting e-commerce and distribution activities.
Duties
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using pallet jacks
- Stock shelves and storage areas accurately following warehouse management system (WMS) protocols
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Assist with order fulfillment processes including, kitting, picking & packing for orders
- Maintain accurate inventory records using
- Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit
- Operate warehouse equipment
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist in cycle counting activities
- Support shipping & receiving functions by coordinating with carriers and updating shipment statuses
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse management, distribution, or related roles preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or MRP software is a plus
- Ability to operate pallet jacks
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and order calculations
- Experience with shipping & receiving processes, order picking, and packing procedures
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes is advantageous
- Warehouse experience involving load & unload operations required
