Summary:
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Platform Solutions team in Nashville, TN. The Software Engineer will report directly to the Director of Platform Solutions and will be responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and enhancement of applications across multiple systems, while collaborating with engineers to solve day-to-day technical challenges and contribute to the automation and modernization of existing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop,maintain, and enhance applications across multiple systems using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and support day-to-day production needs.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and incremental improvements.
- Assistin modernizing and automating existing manual processes and workflows.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following team standards.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions to support quality and knowledge sharing.
- Work across different systems and technologies, building familiarity with the broader platform.
- Support testing, debugging, and deployment activities as part of the development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Working knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Familiarity with building or maintaining APIs and backend services.
- Foundational understanding of software engineering principles (e.g., data structures, code organization, version control).
- Experience working within an existing codebase and contributing to team-based development efforts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to different systems.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
