GoHighLevel Automation Specialist

Lucent Engine is seeking a highly skilled GoHighLevel Automation Specialist to join our team full-time. We are looking for someone with deep, hands-on expertise in GoHighLevel and a proven ability to build, optimize, and scale advanced automations across the platform.

This role is ideal for a candidate who understands not only automation workflows, but also the full ecosystem of GoHighLevel features including CRM pipelines, triggers, campaigns, forms, calendars, reporting, lead nurturing, integrations, and client account setup.

You will play a key role in helping us design efficient systems, streamline operations, improve lead conversion, and create high-performing automated experiences for internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and optimize advanced automations within GoHighLevel
• Create and maintain workflows, triggers, campaigns, pipelines, and CRM systems
• Set up and manage forms, surveys, calendars, landing pages, and email/SMS automations
• Develop scalable systems for lead capture, follow-up, nurturing, and conversion
• Integrate GoHighLevel with third-party tools using native integrations, webhooks, and APIs where needed
• Troubleshoot automation errors, workflow conflicts, and system inefficiencies
• Improve existing account structures and recommend best practices for scale
• Collaborate with team members on implementation strategy, campaign builds, and process improvements
• Monitor performance and provide reporting insights related to automation effectiveness
• Stay current on new GoHighLevel features and platform capabilities

Qualifications

• Extreme proficiency with GoHighLevel
• Proven experience building sophisticated automation systems inside GoHighLevel
• Strong understanding of CRM architecture, lead pipelines, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing
• Experience with email marketing, SMS campaigns, triggers, workflows, and nurture sequences
• Ability to build clean, organized, scalable systems with minimal oversight
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with integrations, webhooks, Zapier, Make, or API-based connections is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to document processes clearly
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a marketing agency, lead generation company, or automation-heavy environment
• Familiarity with funnel building, landing page creation, and conversion optimization
• Experience onboarding accounts and structuring sub-accounts in GoHighLevel
• Understanding of reporting dashboards and attribution tracking
