Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Structural Steel Draftsman located in Minneapolis, MN. The Structural Steel Draftsman will be responsible for creating and preparing detailed shop drawings, technical drawings, architectural drawings, and structural engineering plans. Additional responsibilities include utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) to produce accurate and comprehensive drawings for construction projects.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating Shop Drawings and Technical Drawings
- Experience with Architectural Drawings and Structural Engineering Drawings
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
- Solid understanding of construction and steel structures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively on-site
- Relevant certifications or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial
