What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN or LPN - Med/Surg position at Lucas County Health Center?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by providers.
Responsibilities
- Relative effectively with other shifts for continuity of care
- Maintain satisfactory relations with other departments
- Participate in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills
Qualifications
- Current Iowa licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Healthcare provider BLS
- Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification within 6 months of employment
- ACLS and PALS within 12 months of employment
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well
